The NH Lightning USA Softball Club is based out of Concord, NH. The NH Lightning Softball Club offers players an opportunity to play softball at a highly competitive level at various tournaments around New England and beyond at the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U & 18 + levels.  We have year round practice and tournament facilities in centrally located Hooksett, Goffstown, Manchester and Concord, NH.

In 2004, the families of Opie Pratt and Brett Houston were sitting around the Houston’s backyard fireplace one summer evening and the idea of putting together an ASA(now USA) softball team sparked to life.  Thousands of players and families later, the league is thriving and growing every day!

In 2021 NH Lightning entered into an agreement with the nationally renowned Rhode Island Thunder and David Lotti to create an 18 U Showcase team to provide even more growth opportunities for Lightning players.

We are especially proud of our mission statement: To promote competitive softball for girls in New Hampshire through the development of skills, discipline, and sportsmanship. NH Lightning Softball Club offers players a year round opportunity to play softball at a highly competitive level at various tournaments around New England and beyond at the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U & 18+levels.

The NH Lightning seeks to field competitive teams, but insists on doing so in a family friendly environment where players can grow and mature on and off the field. We intend on fielding teams at the 10U, U12, U14, U16, U18 and 18+ age divisions. We are a USA Junior Olympic Softball sanctioned organization (formerly ASA), but also take part in NSA and PONY events from time to time. We are a not for profit and will not stretch to create teams for the sake of doing so – we wish to maintain our organizational heart and soul, but we also compete to win.
